'Murder probe' as Briton dies in Bali

Reports have named her as Anne-Marie Drozdz, who is thought to be in her forties.

Indonesian police suspect the woman was murdered, according to the AFP news agency.

The agency quoted police as saying she was found dead by the owner of a villa where she was staying in the tourist district of Ubud.

Police say the door to the property the woman was damaged and she had a black cloth over her face, said AFP.

A spokeswoman for the Foreign Office said: "We are aware of the death of a British national in Bali on 22 May.

"We are providing consular assistance to the family."

A police spokesman told AFP: "She was found by the owner of the villa lying dead on the floor with a black cloth over her face.

"The door was damaged and there were dried up pools of blood on the floor."

Police also told the agency the woman had been renting the villa since 17 May.

Ida Bagus Putu Alitin, the head of forensics at Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar on the island, told AFP that the woman's body showed bruises on the neck and around the mouth.

"But we will wait until permission from her family and police to carry out an autopsy," Alitin said.

Music mogul Rosemond indicted on NY murder charge

NEW YORK (AP) — Hip-hop mogul James Rosemond has been indicted in New York on a murder-for-hire charge.

Prosecutors brought the revised indictment Friday accusing Rosemond of ordering others to kill a man in the Bronx in 2009 as payback for an assault on his 14-year-old son.

The 47-year-old chief executive of New York-based Czar Entertainment is already imprisoned. He was recently convicted in federal court in Brooklyn on drug trafficking charges.

Rosemond's lawyer did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

He is behind such hits as Salt-N-Pepa's "Shoop."

William Balfour Found Guilty in Jennifer Hudson Family Murder Case

William Balfour - the former brother-in-law of Jennifer Hudson who was arrested for killing her mother, brother and nephew - has been found guilty on three counts of first-degree murder.

Hudson (along with her fiancé and sister) was inside the courtroom when the verdict was read and sources tell E! News they sat silently throughout.

Balfour did not testify on his own behalf, although the Oscar winner did take the stand early on in the trial and broke down in tears at one point.

In addition to the murder charges, Balfour was found guilty of home invasion, residential burglary, aggravated kidnapping and possession of a stolen vehicle. He faces life in prison.
